The project concept was to transform the underutilised garage into a functional and inviting living space, connected to the existing dwelling. This significantly increases usable living space and storage capacity while providing an asthetic solution tieing the new and old spaces together.


Key Features
  • Garage Conversion: The existing garage is proposed to be converted into new a bedroom with en-suite. Upgrading the existing walls with new insulation and energy-efficient windows ensure comfort all year round.

  • Timber Clad Link Building: The new link building, clad in sustainably sourced timber, provides a practical connection between the main house and the converted garage. 

  • Enhanced Functionality: This project significantly improves the functionality of the property. The additional space can be customised to meet the evolving needs of the household, whether for storage, entertainment, or living purposes.

  • Increased Storage: Smart storage solutions have been integrated within the link building, maximising every meter and ensuring that the home remains organised.
